Caroline Chavatel is a teacher, poet, and editor.

She is the author of White Noises (Greentower Press, 2019), which won The Laurel Review’s 2018 Midwest Chapbook Contest and her work has appeared in various journals such as The Missouri Review, AGNI, Sixth Finch, Foundry, Smartish Pace, and Poetry Northwest, among others. She is co-founding editor of The Shore and an editor for Madhouse Press. She received a B.A. from Salisbury University, an M.F.A. in Poetry from New Mexico State University, and her Ph.D. in Creative Writing from Georgia State University.
